Rigibore's heavy duty Twin Tool system

An extensive design process followed by rigorous testing has culminated in Rigibore's Twin Tooling system. Suitable for roughing using our CX style cartridge, or finishing using our UFP or Smartbore cartridge.

Rigibore Twin Tooling is available in a large variety of sizes and shanks, please see below for options.

Small to Mid Diameter Roughing

Weldon/Side Lock shanks with a 90 or 75 degree approach angle utilizing Rigibore's CX style cartridge.

Ø 30-41 mm
Ø 39-51 mm
Ø 69-101 mm
Ø 99-151 mm

Mid to Large Diameter Roughing and Finishing

Available with BT 50, CAT 50, HSK 100, DIN 69871-50, ANSI B550, and ISO 7388-50 shanks.

Using Rigibore's CX style cartridge gives 78, 85, 90 degree approach angles for roughing.

Using Rigibore's UFP or Smartbore Cartridge gives 90, 95, and 120 degree approach angles for finishing.
