X-LARGE cartridges for BIG diameter bores

Rigibore has extended its micro-adjustable cartridge range to support 'big-bore' applications in nuclear, oil, commercial plant, automotive and marine; tooling designed and manufactured by Rigibore for heavy-duty finishing, providing reassuring rigidity and accuracy in long-cut operations.

For long depth of cuts and big diameter bores, bigger inserts and cartridges dissipate heat rapidly which allows for increased machining time for long cuts. Rigibore's new 'extra large' cartridges help to keep maitenance low, providing less wear on the cutting edge and longevity in operation meaning less replacements and lower costs on expenditure.

These UFP extra-large cartridges can be designed to your specification with cutting edge adjustment options; either a traditional manual adjustment operation with a torx key or integrated to work with our innovative Smartbore system that offers micron adjustment with digital readouts.
